THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOD’S FAVOR OR GOD’S BLESSINGS BUT THERE IS A SUCH THING AS PEOPLE HAVING FINANCIAL MEANS TO COME THROUGH FOR YOU AND ELEVATE YOU, POSITION YOU, BE THE CAUSE YOU GET INTO CERTAIN ROOMS, SIT AROUND COVETED TABLES, PUT ON CERTAIN PLATFORMS AND HOLD KEYS OTHERS ONLY DREAM OF.
“In the book mis-education of the negro by Carter G. Woodson once said , “The large majority of the Negroes who have put on the finishing touches of our best college are all but worthless in the development of their people. The reason I am quoting Carter g Woodson in particular this quote, is the thought behind this quote ,Carter g Woodson was stating we go off to college get educated and we don’t do anything to grow our people. Western education teaches us to hate each other and replenish the rich and the famous with our talent and resources , but not the people who need the help the most, our people we do nothing for. Most Weekend , you can go to any barber shop , or beauty shop you find the most educated, the most financially stable negroes and you here , conversation ranging how bad Black people are or you will here some great barbershop philosophers talking like he is Socrates who was a great philosopher like he has black people problem solve in theory but in all actuality , but when you press him on how you bring theory into reality you want get any answer . My question is , when are we going to stop talking and get to work to solve the problem of poverty , education , voting , and the spirit of our people,with the talent god has Bless us with,to make it Better for all of us ! Lastly Carter G. Woodson said If the Negro in the ghetto must eternally be fed by the hand that pushes him into the ghetto, he will never become strong enough to get out of the ghetto.
