In schools of journalism Negroes are being taught how to edit such metropolitan dailies as the Chicago Tribune and the New York Times, which would hardly hire a Negro as a janitor; and when these graduates come to the Negro weeklies for employment they are not prepared to function in such establishments, which, to be successful, must be built upon accurate knowledge of the psychology and philosophy of the Negro. When a Negro has finished his education in our schools, then, he has been equipped to begin the life of an Americanized or Europeanized white man, but before he steps from the threshold of his alma mater he is told by his teachers that he must go back to his own people from whom he has been estranged by a vision of ideals which in his disillusionment he will realize that he cannot attain. He goes forth to play his part in life, but he must be both social and bisocial at the same time. While he is a part of the body politic, he is in addition to this a member of a particular race to which he must restrict himself in all matters social. While serving his country he must serve within a special group. While being a good American, he must above all things be a “good Negro”; and to perform this definite function he must learn to stay in a “Negro’s place.” Dr. Carter G. Woodson

I was in attendance at the event on tonight at Eliot Chapel. I found a couple of things insulting, disturbing and false.

1. Why did you ONLY highlight African American families as those who were struggling and not others? I guess it makes sense to keep that false narrative going given the crowd.
2. Why did you not speak on Brown vs. Board of Education?
3. Why did you not highlight that Brown vs. Board of Education was about integration for WHITE WOMEN into our BLACK schools to hurt, harm and destroy our culture and future?
4. Why did you not inform your audience that PRE Brown, our BLACK teachers who dealt with the SAME issues and more STILL produced scholars, gifted, talented, orators, highly skilled, brilliant, intelligent, ethical, respectful, civil, good and well rounded people who were inventors, ingenious and innovative?
5. Why did you not inform them that BLACK teachers who were more qualified, highly educated and gifted were demoted, fired and WHITE PARENTS didn’t want them to teach their children?
6. I am elated that you did “kinda” touch on the fact, it is all with a stroke of an ink pen.

This is why we need to STOP that white supremacy nonsense. THEY ARE INFERIOR, INCOMPETENT, WEAK AND IGNORANT AS THEY GET. #CollegeAdmissionScandal They go above and beyond to deny, omit, reject and exclude us from any and all competition if and when they can.

As we head into the 70th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education, this is a conversation we NEED to have among us as a people.

How do you convince us that you “REALLY” care and are so concerned but yet you have been silent on:

Crime that our inner cities communities are ridden and legislated

The drugs being dropped within our inner cities that’s legislated

Education malpractice/theft and curriculum discrimination that’s legislated

The stores that’s allowed to set up shop within our inner city communities who sale illegal substances and ammunition to our inner city children

The fact that our children are graduating unable to think, be lawful, civil, read, write, count and be all that we know they can and should be

White women are put in the teaching profession and make up majority of the teaching profession and push our inner city children into the criminal justice system without considering their legislated PTSD, TRAUMA, POVERTY, LACK, IGNORANCE and RACIST teachers and school climate

The fact that you overreached and came into our homes and took our disciplining, redirecting and correcting rights away and told our children that we can’t and gave them power over us to only push them into the criminal justice system because this is the FREE to speak, do and show up generation, the generational curse breaking group and the gentle parented generation that YOU AND YOUR KIND created but you expect us to victimize, criminalized and prey upon them

The fact our children are rude, entitled, disrespectful and totally unrecognizable to us and our culture but YOU AND YOUR KIND created this but now you want to criminalize it

Yet, you want me to believe that YOU ARE CONCERNED?

Well, with FACT CHECK, you are proven to be a liar

You are using FEAR TACTICS to your white base

You are creating scenarios and narratives that are UNTRUE

I am standing in solidarity with the BLACK parents at Hazelwood East.

WE ARE ALL under attack of this racism in this climate and division is not the answer but unity within our educational institutions.

would try to make him know that just as American history is longer, larger, more various, more beautiful and more terrible than anything anyone has ever said
about it, so is the world larger, more daring, more beautiful and more terrible, but principally larger – and that it belongs to him. I would teach him that he
doesn’t have to be bound by the expediencies of any given administration, any given policy, any given morality; that he has the right and the necessity to
examine everything. I would try to show him that one has not learned anything about Castro when one says, “He is a Communist.” This is a way of his
learning something about Castro, something about Cuba, something, in time, about the world. I would suggest to him that his is living, at the moment, in an
enormous province. America is not the world and if America is going to become a nation, she must find a way – and this child must help her to find a way to
use the tremendous potential and tremendous energy which this child represents. If this country does not find a way to use that energy, it will be destroyed
by that energy.”

The fact that we did GREATNESS before integration is something I don’t understand why we don’t get. Just adamant about being around incompetence, mediocrity, weakness, ignorance, immorality, and disrespectfulness and inconsiderate people. They hate that the children who they see as “problems” can enter into our spaces and: look, act and speak totally unfamiliar in our rooms.
