I have a couple of cellmates that we wear orange and sometimes black and white stripes;

We speak out candidly, intentionally, boldly, truthfully about those things that were once in the dark, we bring them to light!

We speak on issues that plague our community and lives and we do it all unapologetically for all to hear and see;

Racebook and its divisive policies always need to take a look and when truth is too TRUTH, yep in the jail cell I go, that’s me!

They don’t want us to speak our truth, they don’t want us to speak our pain, they don’t want us to reach out to others and clarify the lie they have heard and believed all of their lives that tarnished our culture and family’s name;

Yep, if you haven’t visited this place for 30 days you really do need to up ya game!

You rose from our ancestors ashes

Americans have people riding around in the cold with warm blankets to swoop up animals left out in the frigid weather

Americans have a hotline not to NEGATIVELY REPORT animal abuse and cruelty but to get them to love and safety

YET……

Vagabonds were LYNCHED for being homeless

Vagabonds were LYNCHED for not being employed by the very people who did the LYNCHING

Vagabonds were LYNCHED because they weren’t liked

Vagabonds were LYNCHED because of the mental illness White folks had and yet have

Vagabonds were BEATEN by law enforcement

Vagabonds were seen as, spoken as and treated as less than human

Vagabonds were disrespected

Vagabonds were pushed out into the streets

Vagabonds were left to rot

Yet, somehow I am supposed to not only put an animal over a  but feel deeply compassionate and loving towards an animal rather a person?

I thank and appreciate Nadida and her organization for doing what this WHITE MAN name JACKASS CAN AND SHOULD DO but given what is in his DNA……

As an advid VOLUNTEER, this is the part of us that’s understood and undeniable

We VOLUNTEER and don’t even realize that we are providing a service or giving up our time or talents

When we VOLUNTEER we hone our skills, crafts, and talents

VOLUNTEERS wear and have worn many hats and play many roles

VOLUNTEERS have a keen VISION

VOLUNTEERS are OPPORTUNISTIC

VOLUNTEERS deliver unconditional LOVE

VOLUNTEERS walk in authority and UNDERSTANDING

VOLUNTEERS NEVER forget their foundation

VOLUNTEERS know it is better TOGETHER

VOLUNTEERS EMPOWER the frail

VOLUNTEERS EDUCATE the ignorant

VOLUNTEERS READY themselves to catch one before they fall

I began to swell with pride because VOLUNTEERS is another word for a DOULA or MIDWIFE

Yet on the flip side of the coin….

I along with other Black women have been volunteering to be trampled upon, raped, misused, abused, rejected, denied, oppressed, marginalized, stripped, dehumanized, disregarded, overlooked and made to feel like we are invisible, ineffective and incapable disengaged.

I along with other Black women have volunteered to accept maltreatment and malpractice as the right of those who dare treat us like we are not full citizens, nursed, protected, cooked, clean and was physically, emotionally, psychologically, financially violated and expect these autrocities for our and our family lives.

I along with other Black women have volunteered to watch our children and loved ones become prey and be treated in the most vicious manner known to mankind, STILL in 2019.

I along with other Black women were presented a script and we dare not deviate from it because we held high something America, WHITE AMERICA knows absolutely nothing about and that is morals, principles, character, empathy, sympathy, compassion and humanity.

I along with other Black women have allowed America to be that abusive spouse.

Yes, those spouses will  and continuously victimize us as long as we remain volunteer and willing participants.

It took someone to do something you couldn’t do for yourself

It took someone to stop you from being bitter

It took someone to stop you from being angry

It took someone yo show you that what you were facing was what AMERICA is facing.

Bacons Rebellion is alive and well, struggling and poor Whites are just as affected as people of color, WE ARE THE SAME.

Now, ask yourself how do you rid yourself of the unnecessary anger, division and hatred.

You needed but lashed out.

How do you think we POC feel?

You served our country well and I thank and appreciate your service.

Why do you hate so deeply?

Why do you look down on Brown and Black people so deeply?

Why is there such disdain towards your Brown and Black people?

We have not did any wrong

We own no systems that perpetuate injustice, maltreatment and malpractice

We too are in your SAME situation and change for the better and all will happen once we embrace this fact

45 maltreatment of the people of the US is the same maltreatment affluent and middle class White Folks give to all others of a darker hue, different religions.

45 is WHITE FOLKS on STEROIDS.

He is just UNAFRAID, UNCARING, UNTAMED AND OPEN WITH HIS RACIST stance unlike others, until NOW!

I love 45, more and more.

As I sit back and see WHO put him in office and WHO voted in Alabama in LARGE numbers…….

WHO has always assured poverty?

WHO has always dictated if I can feed my family healthy meals?

WHO has always dictated if I am employable or not?

WHO has always assured that my children education malpractice and maltreatment works against them and our future?

WHO has always been behind me living in crime ridden areas?

WHO has always assured that what is automatic for White children is not worthy for my poor black students?

WHO has always dictated liveable wages?

45 is UNAFRAID to be OPEN, BRUTE, NASTY, RACIST, HATEFUL,ILLEGAL, IMMORAL, INHUMANE and UNGODLY and I LOVE HIM FOR IT.

The difference between HE and other WHITES (HE IS ON A PLATFORM and they are in a boardroom with a pen).

WHITE MEN LEGISLATE laws on: Guns, FDA, Education, Environmental, Housing, and so much more, it leans on the CONTINUAL oppression and suppression of BLACK AND BROWN FOLKS in AMERICA AND AROUND THE WORLD,WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

WHITE MEN from the beginning of our time in America were the ones who were PERMITTED and EXPECTED to: shoot, lynch, frame, capture, set ablaze, terrorize, antagonize, bully, dehumanize and oppress those who were non white.

Yes, these vicious and sick acts have always been on reserve for WHITE MEN to carry out, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

When POC are cornered, when mobs of WHITE MEN get black people secluded, they smirk, they mock and then they immediately begin beating them to emasculate them and instill fear in the lives of the BLACK AND BROWN men, women and children, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

This is by the hearts and hands of WHITE MEN.

WHITE MEN have always needed servants and slaves, THEY ARE INFERIOR, INCOMPENT AND INEFFECTIVE, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

These heinous crimes we are witnessing in 2018-2019 are just as our norm and the systems that cater to these WHITE MEN!

From the beginning of time, they were seen as VIOLENT overseers, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

WHITE MEN were allowed to rape their women, they were allowed to assault their women and they were allowed to sleep with other men and women, BLACK AND WHITE, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

Over time, things change slowly but yet changed, SAME VICIOUS mentality, different laws to allow them to carry out the SAME immoral, inhumane, illegal acts upon mankind, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

They then became the PEN PUSHERS and behind those pens were laws, mandates, licensure, certifications, policies and rules that held a “secret” code and understanding what was STILL WHITES ONLY and on reserve for WHITE MEN AND WOMEN, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

In the Willie Lynch Letter, it highlighted the importance of making sure those who “weren’t insiders” REMAINED on the outside, WE ARE CRIMINALIZED FOR THE LEGISLATION OF IGNORANCE AND LIES FROM WHITE RACIST MEN, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

In the Willie Lynch Letter, it spoke on CONTROLLED language and if we are open and honest, the United States Constitution and other legislatures say one thing but when it comes to people of color, WHITE MEN hold a different lingo for them to get off crimes freely, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK.WORLD.

Back in 1800’s it was WRITTEN AND UNDERSTOOD that Blacks had NO rights which WHITE MEN man was bound to respect, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

TODAY, I see housing, I see education, I see environmental hazards, I see employment, I see ALL THESE THINGS AS THE SAME THAT IS UPHOLDING THE LAWS OF THE 1800’S WITH ONE EXCEPTION, NOW WHIYR GOLKS ARE BEING STRIPPED OF THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF LIES BY THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF WHITR MEN, WELCOME TO OUR BLACK WORLD.

THE POWER IN WHITE FOLKS AND SUE BIVINS CHOICES!

To choose to hear the soul

To choose and want to hear some, their life unfold

To choose to take the first step

To choose to get to a person’s depth

To choose to acknowledge wrongs and rights

To choose to go into a life’s tunnel with bright lights

To choose to be vulnerable and clear

To choose to allow your feet be open ears

To choose to see one’s humanity

To choose to sit across the table from me

To choose to catch ones frailty

To choose to no longer turn your head and want to see

To choose to learn just what I dread

To choose to impact the lives of the marginalized crew without a grudge buy will instead

To choose to get to know me and I know you

To choose to come from behind the shadows and no longer hide

To choose to get into my space and listen to a weakened voice and say you’re willing to ride

Yep, you are correct that daily we make a choice

Yep, now I see how those who havr MUCH can choose to keep us impoverished without a voice

Yep, O THE CHOICES WE MAKE.
