Imagine being a student in an ENTIRE Title 1 school district where NO TO LOW resources is generationally, the curriculum is outdated, you walk through metal detectors, DAILY expect the unexpected and face CONSISTENT INCONSISTENCIES and all you have to prop you up are your outstanding BLACK faculty, staff and stake holders.

This PANDEMIC is the PERFECT opportunity for America to get education right in our inner cities throughout America. Yep, we all know what we would love to see and know it could and should be done. WE CAN also go back to business as usual honing and utilizing our innate skills, natural gifts and talents, ingenuity and creativity with great enjoyment and start back producing progress for the world.
We can PINK SLIP each and every White teacher from within the boarders of our inner cities throughout America that they allowed to infiltrate and outsourced because it ain’t working out FOR THEIR EMPLOYERS (The students).
We can HIRE, RETAIN, APPRECIATE AND GET WITH strong, compassionate, intentional non licensed and licensed BLACK educators; one thing this PANDEMIC has taught me, the LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION is not what extract from our students their brilliance, cteativity and magic but the belief that it within them married to high standards and expectations along with a no excuse policy.
After all, WE ARE ALL trauma filled, dealing with PTSD and mental fatigue and are in need of HEALING so why not together?
ELEVATE those salaries of ALL BLACK TEACHERS AND STAFF who gladly do DOUBLE DUTY. DOUBLE DUTY is when they have 25 students on their rosters and 10 others are shoved into their classes because “they are seemingly the only ones who can do something with those students.” Yes in the middle of instruction, she or he is disrespected, disregarded and degraded AND this is done all of the time, YET they stand in front of their inner city children on their rosters and engage the others who are safe to learn because their task is not only to educate BUT ALSO to provide dignity, respect, humanity and self pride and this is before the starting bell rings.
We ALL KNOW America legislate gloom, doom, failure, education malpractice and curriculum discrimination in poor areas which are ENTIRE Title 1 school districts.
Poverty, lack, hunger, homelessness and being marginalized is nothing new in our poor BLACK communities. We once had high quality educators who took pride in the profession, were respected by all students, demanded greatness at all times, waved their magic wands and scholars appeared and that was intentionally because the students were an extension of them.
They moved in the direction of it was neither never nor is never about their inner city students ABILITY but the availability, access, opportunity and incusivity and THEY MADE A WAY even with low to no resources and produced scholastic competitors.
America came up with ways to exclude, deny, reject and flat out say NO while knowing better than we did what was in us, they took out BLACK teachers from us and replaced them with WHITE teachers whose jobs were to assure our children that they couldn’t compete, would lose their love of learning, would not be challenged, would not think highly of themselves and lastly wouldn’t believe that they could BE ANYTHING, GO ANYWHERE AND CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER.
They created Double D’s, DISTANCE and DOLLARS.
They began to DEFUNDED what came natural to us ( OUR MUSCLES AND MINDS) but when we jumped those UNNECESSARY hurdles; WE ALWAYS proved that poverty wasn’t synonymous with skills, gifts, talents, brilliance, creativity or magic so what do and did we do and have always done? #Excel

Prior to desegregation, infiltration and integration poor Black students competed, dominated and did these things in excellency.
BLACK TEACHERS EXTRACTED THE SCHOLARS FROM WITHIN
BLACK TEACHERS ENCOURAGED RESEARCHING
BLACK TEACHERS WERE TEACHERS TO ALL STUDENTS IF THEY WERE ON THEIR ROSTER OR NOT
BLACK TEACHERS UNDERSTOOD BODY LANGUAGE OR THOSE NONVERBAL LANGUAGE
BLACK TEACHERS BONDED AND DISCIPLINED BLACK STUDENTS
BLACK TEACHERS ARE AN EXTENSION OF THE BLACK FAMILY
BLACK TEACHERS MAKE IT KNOWN THAT IT IS THEIR STUDENTS TO TAKE STOCK, HONE, BUILD, ACKNOWLEDGE, CULTIVATE AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY USE AND NEVER SQUANDER, REJECT, MOCK, DENY AND HEAL FROM WITHIN.
BLACK TEACHERS, WHEN THEY PLANT SEEDS, THEY UNDERSTAND STORMS WILL COME, LIFE WILL BE A ROLLER COASTER OF ISSUES, FAILIRES, LET DOWNS, THINGS THEY CAN DO.SOMETHING ABOUT AND OTHERS THWY CANT BUT THWY MUST KEEP GOING AND LEARNING FEOM ALL PEOPLE, EVENTS AND EXPERIENCES
BLACK TEACHERS READY THEIR STUDENTS FOR A WORLD THAT WON’T HAND THEM ANYTHING, SEE THEM AND TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE UNPREPARED UNTIL THEY SHOW JUST HOW MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND SCHOLADTICALLY PREPARED THEY REALLY ARE
The worst thing they did for us BLACK PEOPLE was create BRICK AND MORTAR along with DIVIDE AND CONQUER and create policies, rules, laws, mandates and codes to stress ATTENDANCE but silent on BLACK ACADEMICS.

Somehow CONVINCED us that It was our natural home remedies that were harmful (we are the sickest our people have EVER been)
Somehow CONVINCED us that PLAY which caused high levels of communication, problem solving, creativity, decision making, time management, conflict resolution, accountability, creativity, adaptability and flexibility, planning, organizing, self control, interpersonal skills, compassion, empathy, give and take along with team work was NOW unsafe for our kids so it’s been replaced with seditary living, fear of humanity and technology that is more harmful, predatory and invasive than ever before.
THAT WAS PREDATORY AND THEY LIED AND MADE IT BIG AND SAID IT OFTEN AND NOW THE MOST PROFIT IS MADE OFF OF US IN THIS CYBER WORLD, THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY
IT IS UPON THE BACKS, SWEAT, DEWTH AND TEARS OF NOT ONLY OUR ANCESTORS BUT OUR BACKS THIS COUNTRY WAS AND YET IS STILL BEING BUILT
