"YOU PEOPLE"

Got my OWN mic, stage, key, seat & door!

THE GENUINE FAITH WALKER & TALKER!

WARRIOR FIRST THREE LETTERS IS WAR.

THIS WOMAN, THE DR. PRISCILLA HOLLIWAY WAS NOT AFRAID OF A BATTLE, AT NO TIME.

SHE MIGHT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO WALK BUT SHE WAS FOREVER WAR READY & WOULD DARE SOMEONE TO DO OR SAY SOMETHING SHE DIDN’T LIKE OR AGREE.

THAT WAS THE KIND OF LEVEL OF FAITH THAT WE ALL “ABLE BODIED AND COHERENT” CHRISTIANS NEED TO UPHOLD. NO MATTER WHAT, STAND STEADFAST ON YOUR FAITH, TRUST AND BELIEF IN GOD.

THERE’S A SONG THAT SAYS, “THERE’S A LEAK IN THIS OLD BUILDING AND MY SOUL, HAS GOT TO MOVE…..”

DR. HOLLIWAY HAD UNQUESTIONABLE STRONG FAITH, TRUST, BELIEF AND LOVE IN GOD, SO THEREFORE SHE KNEW THIS SEASON WOULD COME BUT THIS IS STILL NOT WELCOMED BY ME.

NO MATTER WHAT DETERIORATED OUTWARDLY, NO LONGER FUNCTIONED OUTWARDLY, WAS WITHEREING OUTWARDLY….

SHE REMAINED AN AI KIND OF WOMAN, AUTHENTICALLY INTENTIONAL, THE FEARLESS WARRIOR, THE STRONG WOMAN, THE CONFIDENT WOMAN, THE UNBOTHERED WOMAN WAS PRESENT INWARDLY AND THAT IS THE LEVEL OF FAITH WE ALL NEED AND SHOULD EXUDE.

SHE WAS STILL GOD’S SOLDIER AND SHE LIVED HER LIFE FULLY LIKE……

TO TRACY AND CRYSTAL:

“Do you know why wise people often say to “Live Life Like a Wolf?”  Well first, wolves never eat carcasses. You’ll never see a wolf performing in a circus unlike some other animals. Wolves don’t mate with their mothers or

sisters. A wolf typically mates with one wolf for life, and the female does the same.  In the event of a spouses death, the remaining spouse mourns for no more than three months and the mourning can last for a whole year. The wolf is called THE RIGHTEOUS SON because it is the only animal that honors its parent when they reach old age and can’t keep up with the pack for hunting.  The parents remain in the den while the younger wolves hunt for them and bring them food.

As humans, we have a lot to learn from wolves. ” Denzel Washington

“In Africa, we don’t send our African elders to old age homes, they stay at home so that they pass intergenerational wisdom.” African Proverb

Unmerited Favor? When a person works an eight-hour day and receives a fair day’s pay for his time, that is a wage. When a person competes with an opponent and receives a trophy for his performance, that is a prize. When a person receives appropriate recognition for his long service or high achievements, that is an award. But when a person is not capable of earning a wage, can win no prize, and deserves no award – yet receives such a gift anyway – that is a good picture of God’s unmerited favor. This is what we mean when we talk about the grace of God.

EVERYTHING SHE HAD IT WAS BECAUSE OF MERIT AND NEVER FAVOR!

We Will Miss You Soldier!

📌 MALCOLM-JAMAL WARNER DIES IN DROWNING AT 54 — AND STILL NO SWIM MANDATE? 💦🏫

🎙️ WELCOME TO THE BREAKDOWN 🔥
Where we don’t just mourn — we mobilize.
Because this ain’t about fear.
This is about preventable death, systemic neglect, and a solution that’s been sitting in plain sight.
🟣 Let’s break it down 👇🏾
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #1 — A BELOVED ICON, GONE TOO SOON
Malcolm-Jamal Warner — Theo Huxtable himself — helped define a generation of Black brilliance, talent, and growth.
And now he’s gone at just 54 years old from something as preventable as drowning.
We don’t know the exact conditions of the water he was in, but let’s be real:
📉 In 2024, over 4,000 people drowned in the U.S.
📉 Black Americans are over 5x more likely to drown than white Americans
📉 Most never even had formal swim lessons
This ain’t about talent. This ain’t about toughness.
This is about access — and accountability.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #2 — BLACK CHILDREN ARE BEING LEFT BEHIND (AGAIN)
Let’s hit the numbers:
• 64% of Black kids can’t swim
• Drowning is a leading cause of death for Black children ages 5–14
• Generations were systematically denied access to public pools — and the trauma still lingers
So what does the system do today?
Build stadiums. Buy new scoreboards.
But not a pool?
🤔 Nah. That’s intentional.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #3 — THIS IS THE MOMENT TO MANDATE IT
📌 Here’s the plan. Bold, simple, life-saving:
✅ Swimming required by 6th grade — like reading and math
✅ TK & preschool swim lessons to normalize it early
✅ Saturday morning swim classes that count toward school credit
✅ Use local parks, public pools, and YMCAs if schools don’t have one
✅ Any new school built must include a shallow instruction pool
✅ Partner with local Black-owned swim schools and certified instructors
✅ Mandate swim testing for field trip clearance near water (beaches, lakes, etc.)
🎯 This isn’t just a class. This is curriculum for survival.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #4 — THE MALCOLM-JAMAL WARNER SWIM ACADEMY INITIATIVE
Let’s stop naming buildings after billionaires who never set foot in our schools.
📛 Let’s do it right.
🏊🏿‍♂️ The Malcolm-Jamal Warner Swim Academy
📍 A national campaign to put water safety and swimming in every school — starting with the communities who need it most.
This isn’t about fame. It’s about legacy.
Not a statue. Not a soundbite.
A lifesaving program in his name.
And every time a child learns to float, swim, and live — Malcolm lives on.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #5 — THE MONEY EXISTS. DON’T LET THEM LIE TO YOU.
They’ll say: “Pools are expensive.”
We say: So is a funeral.
💰 Every year, schools spend:
• $30 million+ on turf stadiums
• $20 million+ on surveillance equipment
• $5 million+ on unused textbooks
• And hundreds of millions on lawsuits after tragedies 👀
You know what they rarely fund?
A shallow pool and a certified swim instructor.
This is about political will, not pocket change.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #6 — PILOT PROGRAMS START LOCALLY
📍Test it where you can — today:
✅ Cities building new public schools (start with LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston)
✅ Schools already equipped with pools — launch the first Malcolm-Jamal pilot site
✅ Charter schools and magnet programs that want to stand out with a health & safety edge
✅ Saturday “Swim to Graduate” academies funded by state or county wellness grants
Add in PE credit. Make it free. Use buses. Partner with rec centers.
It can be done.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #7 — DON’T WAIT FOR PERMISSION. APPLY PRESSURE.
🧠 Don’t wait for federal law. Change happens fastest at the local level.
📞 Call your school board
📧 Email your principal
📣 Show up to the next education budget meeting
👥 Gather 50 parents and form a swim safety task force
💡 Tip: Add this ask into bond measures, grant proposals, PTA agendas, even school safety initiatives.
They can’t ignore the receipts.
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
🚨 #8 — CALL IN CELEBRITY ALLIES
🎯 LeBron James. Steph Curry. Simone Manuel. Michael B. Jordan. Issa Rae.
🎯 Jay-Z’s Reform Alliance. Even Shaq and The Rock, who’ve both pushed for public health access.
Let’s call on Black excellence to sponsor the blueprint — not just the billboard.
One viral campaign could do what Congress won’t.
📌 THE REALITY CHECK
✅ Malcolm-Jamal Warner should still be here.
✅ The next child doesn’t have to be a headline.
✅ This moment could be the shift — if we make it one.
🔥 BOTTOM LINE:
🏊🏾‍♀️ Make swimming mandatory.
📛 Name it after Malcolm.
✊🏾 Break the cycle. Build the legacy.
🎁 Since you stayed with me through the full breakdown, here are 3 truths to take with you:
🟣 “Survival shouldn’t be gated by privilege.”
🟣 “Swimming saves lives — and naming it after Malcolm saves more.”
🟣 “If we won’t build the pool, we’re complicit in the drowning.”
✌🏿 Stay grounded. Stay bold. Stay in motion.
💦 Fight On. For Malcolm. For the babies. For us all.
And one last note..
I just posted a video yesterday about a tragedy that could have been prevented had the lil girl knew how to swim.. link in comments 👇🏿

Each of those words is centered around us as a BLACK people who has gotten away from our village, community and tribe of which was the root cause of how we succeed, advanced, achieved, excelled and elevated. We have always been prominent in the world’s eye and this is why they legislated our ignorance of who we were, what we accomplished and achieved and our major contributions. They kept us ignorant of politics and how the country is ran. They infiltrated and invaded our BLACK organizations, businesses, churches and schools to weaken us, dilute us, devalue us, degrade us cause us to have disdain towards our own selves. We have not only a rich history but strong legacy’s of resilience, revolutionary, radicalism, excellence, merit, intellectualism, innovation, inventions, and how we maneuvered through a country who sought to kill, hurt, harm and destroy us. I always say there would be NO USa without US, BLACK people. It is our influence, our culture, our music, our art, our athleticism, our academics, our leadership, our lives of which is the fabric of our nation’s advancement and progress.

Angela Bassett said, “ALLOW US TO SEE ONE ANOTHER even when we can’t see ourselves.”

This has been my place and space for the past 47 years.

PURPOSE!!!!!!

Pushing others, cheering others on, patching wounds for others, mending the hurt of others, putting the well-fare of others top on my life’s to do list. Having a sincere heart for others, desiring others to be liberated by education, exposure, example and enlightenment.

DOULA assists in the birthing process or assures the expectant mom that her delivery will be as smooth as possible.
To EMBODY OUR PURPOSE in the most EMPOWERING AND REWARDING way and with much confidence, grace, dignity, assurance and clarity is indeed AWEsome.

PURPOSE!!!!!!
In this season, in this time, in this grief, in this state of uncertainty there is indeed PURPOSE.
I began to repeat the word PURPOSE and Pastor Miller spoke on yesterday but he said something that made my baby leap; PERSONALIZED THORNS, BURNS, STORMS, CRUCIFIXIONS AND JOURNEY.
I sat with that because even THEY have a PURPOSE if for no other reason, a constant reminder that WE SURVIVED something that would have taken others out of here……..

The more I thought, the more I began to play this HOW MANY WORDS can I get out of the word purpose game.

PURPOSE!!!!!!

So– No matter our journey to our right now moment, it was essential to be in the present. Had we been a millisecond late, would we be here? So this so can be seen as arrogant, insolent or nonchalant but only you know what was BEFORE your so. If you can SO; that mean you have faced some test, trials, hurdles, roadblocks and gain victory of them.
Pose–   They tell us that a picture is worth a thousand words. To see us BLACK WOMEN stand confident, unafraid, intentional, with authority and in command speaks to the picturesque scene we have faced and conquered because it is only AFTER the mental picture of all of our experiences on this life journey that it is beautiful because it reveals what is and was always within us.
As BLACK WOMEN, our life’s picture has MORE than a thousand words, have UNIVERSAL languages, can be easily interpreted and understood. They all convey strength, commonality, tenacity, grace, dignity, character and undeniable progression, vision and sisterhood.
Pour–   We BLACK WOMEN are walking vessels dispensing genuine love, hope, joy, goodwill, faith and belief in a better world. We BLACK WOMEN are indeed well aware of the children we raise, the values we instill the moral expressions we expect and the community we build. Yep, we know all too well what it was like to be without, so we replenish ourselves every time we pour into others.
Our–   I ran from this but to see me embrace this with knowledge, wisdom and learned lessons is indeed needed and appreciated and valued to distinguish the right ones is in our circle and are or should be viewed as my gift because the present me.
Purse–   This is bought empty but once bought, people choose what they will put inside and bring out. We BLACK WOMEN are nothing but valuable and pricy purses with mightiness within and sprinkle it all over humanity as we go and come.
Rose–   The FULL BLOOM of this beautiful flower speaks. It is the resurrection out of the dirt that I see. To see it with thorns while simultaneously standing strong, robust, command the eye and just melts the heart is worth the soil the seed began in for me.
Sore–   This is proof and a reminder that you have been wounded or caught an infection.  This is  proof or a reminder that you can still feel.  This is proof and a reminder that you are still elastic, a survivor and here with work to yet be completed that ONLY we are assigned.
Rope–   This is what you give those out in the deep blue se of life and you with your experience, strength, exposure, know how and when have the ability to reel them back to clarity, wisdom, safety and security.
Us–   THIS IS FOR YOU GROWTH, CLEAR, UNDERSTOOD AND EMBRACED. TO SEE YOU SIFT PEOPLE, WEED PEOPLE OUT AND ALLOW THEM SPACE TO ASSIST YOU IS WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED FOR YOU.
Pure–   TO FINALLY SEE YOU CHIP AWAY YOUR WALL AND UNDERSRAND THERW ARE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HOP ON YOUR LIFE’S FERRIS WHEEL AND BE, SAY, ELEVATE, SUPPORT, EMPOWER AND BE EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED AS YOU MATRICULATE TO YOUR NEXT LEVEL IS WHAT BEING VULBERABLE, SACRIFICIAL, TRANSPARENT AND TRUSTING IS ALL ABOUT.
Ruse–   YOU LIVED A LIFE OF BEING TRICKED, BAMBOOZELED, UNREAL AND THIS REAL YOU IS A MORE FREE YOU AND I LOVE THIS YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE.
Use–   TO TAKE ALL THINGS DONE, SEEN, BELIEVED, UNBELIEVED, HEARD, FELT AND EXPERIENCED AND TOSS THEM ALL UP TO LAND UPON YOUR JOURNEY TO SHKW THE WOMAN I HAVE ALWAYS SEEN, KNEW AND FELT WAS WITHIN IS SIMPLT GIVING ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Prose–   THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO WRITE METICULOUSLY, INTENTIONALLY AND TEDIOUSLY ABOUT HOW I SEE YOU, WHAT I SEE IN YOU AND THE WOMAN YOU SHOULD ALLOW TO BECOME.
I AM ELATED THAT THIS CHAPTER 45 IS FILLED WITH MEMORIES OF YOU.
I AM ENJOYING OBSERVING YOU LASSO YOUR PURPOSE, OWN YOUR PURPOSE, WALK IN YOUR PURPOSE AND LIVE OUT YOUR PURPOSE OUT LOUD AND ON A WORLD STAGE.
We have forgotten who we are.
We have forgotten the power of our unity.
We have forgotten the essence of the My brothers and My sisters keeper.
We have forgotten the village concept.
We have forgotten the community knit.
We have forgotten the tribe strength.
PURPOSE, the premature demise of Malcolm Jamal Warner has paused and forced us to look at who we are, what we have done and the values, morals and Black systems we have held high and close. This is on that generation heavily for the past 2 days. We had a charge to keep to our ancestors. We had obligations to fulfill for our people. We had a responsibility to our future. We reneged. We didn’t keep our word, promise, and vow to our elders and ancestors because our children which is our future look unfamiliar, sound unfamiliar, present themselves in the most unfamiliar, unbothered, unapproving, unpowerful, unfruitful, unliked, unmoved, untimely, ungodly, uncharacteristic, unmotivated, unappreciative, unlearned, unearned, unmotivated, unloving, unfinished, unattentively, uninspired, unpolished, ununited, untrained, unfollowing, unsaid, unmade, unstated, unfelt, unhear, unforgiveable, unforsaken,  unaspirated, uncaring, unlived, unmolded, unstill, unrefined, unvarying, unclear, uninventive, uninnovative, uncreative, unforwarded, unfueled, uncommon, uncommunicative, unremedied, unshared, unquiet, unchoice, unfact, unapt, uninspired, unsupportive, unclose, unhelp, unjust, unrest, unwell, unplan, unwholly, unaccountable, unresponsible, unobligated, untrusting, and unrepresented.
We have ALWAYS been centered, influential, coveted, wanted, needed, expected, superior, introspective, prideful, exceptional, excellent, brilliant, visible, heard, expected, protective, leaders in America gifted, talented and it was innate and never had to be purchased. WE DROPPED THE BALL, BIG TIME, WE DID, WE REALLY DID.

My Reflection of visiting the Freedom Center #3

Slavery was legal. Slavery was supported and applauded by Christians.
You may ask why I have begun each post with that statement. Because too often Christians hide behind legality at the expense of morality.
I hope that if you were to ask most Christians today if slavery was moral, they would respond,
“No.” Time has proven it was an ugly part of our history. However, if you were to ask those same Christians if the inhumane treatment of immigrants is moral, many (of varying ethnicities) would probably hide behind its legality.
At the Freedom Center, I was reminded of too many similarities between slavery and our current immigration practices. I can’t remain silent:
Here are some of Normal practices during slavery and afterwards. Do you see any similarities?
1. Hunting people down as they pursue freedom for themselves and their families.
2. Separating families and ripping kids from their parent’s arms.
3. Caging people in deplorable living conditions.
4. The KKK covered their faces.
5. Slave chasers used violence and cruelty under the guise of protecting slave owners.
While the church applauded. While the church was silent. While the church ignored the teachings of Jesus.
Please read the quotes below and compare to how we are justifying the treatment of immigrants today.

The Rhind Mathematical Papyrus and Ebers Papyrus prove Egyptians mastered math and medicine centuries before the Greeks. Greek philosophers like Plato and Aristotle studied in Egypt, and Greek architecture borrowed heavily from Egyptian temple designs. The Greek alphabet evolved from Egyptian hieroglyphics, and Athenian lawmaker Solon based his reforms on Egyptian governance. The Library of Alexandria was a key center of knowledge exchange between African and Greek scholars. Even early Greek sculptures imitated Egyptian artistic styles. Historical records and archaeology confirm that Greek civilization was not created in isolation but built upon African foundations, a fact often overlooked in mainstream history. I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL watching THEO

It is because of THEO Black boys saw their image on the screen and they saw how to treat not only women but strong men and they were not afraid to be hard and soft simultaneously.

I had been asking GOD, what will it take to UNIFY us, to get us BACK to the mindset of us hold excellence, brilliance, intelligence, creativity, superiority and our unity high and NOW EVERYONE is not only talking about THEO but THE COSBY SHOW, and just like that, GOD answered my prayer.

COME ON O!

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'BARACK OBAMA SAYS MEN NEED GAY FRIENDS TO TEACH EMPATHY, BE ROLE MODELS TO KIDS'

BLACK BOYS DON’T NEED GAY MEN TO BE SOFT, FEMINE, ETC. BECAUSE WE HAVE NEVER BEEN APPOINTED, EXPECTED AND CALLED TO BE FEMININE, OR SOFT.

OUR BOYS HAD THEIR STRONG DADS IN THE HOME

OUR BOYS HAD STRONG MEN IN THE FAMILY

OUR BOYS HAD STRONG MEN IN THE COMMUNITY

OUR BOYS HAD STRON MEN IN THE CHURCH

OUR BOYS HAD STRONG MEN IN ORGANIZATIONS

OUR BOYS HAD STRONG MEN AS LEADERS

OUR BOYS HAD STRONG MEN AS BUSINESSES

NOW, IF THEY WERE GAY,O WELL AND THEY KEPT IT TO THEMSELVES BECAUSE THAT IS THEIR PRIVATE BUSINESS BUT IT WASN’T ADVERTISED AND FLAUNTED FOR ALL THE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY TO KNOW AND SEE BECAUSE BLACK MEN WERE EXPECTED TO BE WARRIORS.

IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXPECTED THAT BLACK MEN WERE STRONG, ROBUST, MASCULINE, DOMINANT, AND WELL, MEN AND GAY WASN’T A PREREQUISITE.

I took her right rage and began to research white rage on the road, in the lines and any other position where they must be oppressed, subjugated, submitted and expected to wait.

I looked up Jim Crow Etiquette and what do you know, there it was; WHITE FOLKS were supposed to ALWAYS go first on the walkway, in the streets and on the road.

This is EXACTLY why they HATE(D) JACK JOHNSON, BILL RUSSELL, MAHAMMAD ALI, SIMONE BILES, RICHARD WILLIAMS, YERENA WILLIAMS, EARL WOODS, TIGER WOODS, ANGEL REESE, TAMAR RANDALL, ELIZABETH RANDALL AND ALL OTHER BLACK UNAPOLOGETIC AND CONFIDENT ATHLETES.

THEY HATE WHEN WE DON’T KNOW OUR PLACE

THEY HATE WHEN WE KNOW WHO WE ARE AND NOT DEFINED BY A RACE.

YEP, JIM CROW IS WHAT THEY INSIDE OUR LIVES DID SOW

THIS WAS NOT AN ABSTRACT MINDSET BUT A WAY OF BEING THROUGHOUT THE USa, THE PLACE OUR ANCESTORS BUILT
IN THE GUISE OF LAWS, RULES, CODES, MANDATES, POLICIES, LEGISLATIONS, AND FORCED REGULATIONS THIS IS HOW WE STOOD AND WAS EXPECTED TO KNELT
THESE SAME RULES HAVE EVOLVED, REVOLVED AND INVOLVED IN SUCH A WAY THAT NOTHING HAS CHANGED
YET, THEY HAVE ISSUE WITH THESE YOUNG BLACKS WHO DON’T KNOW THEIR PLACE AND RACIST APPOINTED NAME

The following Jim Crow etiquette norms show how inclusive and pervasive these norms were:

• A black male could not offer his hand (to shake hands) with a white male because it implied being socially equal.
• Obviously, a black male could not offer his hand or any other part of his body to a white woman, because he risked being accused of rape.
• Black and white people were not supposed to eat together. If they did eat together, white people were to be served first, and some sort of partition was to be placed between them.
• Under no circumstance was a black male to offer to light the cigarette of a white female — that gesture implied intimacy.
• Black people were not allowed to show public affection toward one another in public, especially kissing, because it offended white people.
• Jim Crow etiquette prescribed that black people were introduced to white people, never white people to black people. For example: “Mr. Peters (the white person), this is Charlie (the black person), that I spoke to you about.”
•White people did not use courtesy titles of respect when referring to black people, for example, Mr., Mrs., Miss., Sir, or Ma’am. Instead, black people were called by their first names. Black people had to use courtesy titles when referring to white people, and were not allowed to call them by their first names.
• If a black person rode in a car driven by a white person, the black person sat in the back seat, or the back of a truck.

• White motorists had the right-of-way at all intersections.

WHITE RAGE IS WELL AWARE THAT BLACKS ARE A GRADE A PEOPLEWhite Rage is because of what is IN BLACK PEOPLE.

White Rage is because of BLACK PEOPLE have produced

White Rage is because of BLACK dominance

White Rage is because of BLACK superiority

White Rage is because of BLACK exceptionalism

White Rage is because of BLACK creativity

White Rage is because they create racist rhetoric of who is inferior and superior

White Rage is because of BLACK receipts

White Rage is because of BLACK brilliance

White Rage is because of BLACK accomplishments

White Rage is because of BLACK advancement

White Rage is because of the INevitable Black Advancement has built this thankless, godless, unjust and ungrateful country White Rage is because of BLACK ambitions, White Rage is because of BLACK astuteness White Rage is because of BLACK achievements White Rage is because of BLACK

oblem, but blackness with ambition, blackness with drive, with purpose, with aspirations, with the demand for full and equal citizenship, it is blackness that refuses to accept subjugation to give up. The truth is despite all of this, a black man was elected president of the United States, crystallizing the ultimate black advancement, thus bringing the ultimate affront to those white people, a black president.”

My question to my white brothers and sisters, are going help this man (Trump) destroy this country because of your white rage? Or are you to help salvage it, yes I mean salvage, because Trump is doing a great job of wrecking it. A word from the wise, once this country is wrecked, whose going to suffer more? Black people know how to fight through hardships. As a matter of fact, some of us are pros at it. This is written from a well of love. Peace Out
