BLACK MOTHERS, how do we unify for specific political parties?
Yet we BLACK MOTHERS never celebrate for us happiness, life, justice, equality and liberty.
BLACK MOTHERS, how do we watch America pass an ANTI ASIAN hate bill and overlook ANTI BLACK AMERICANS 400 plus years of LEGISLATIVE: hate, violence, maliciousness, viciousness, maltreatment, malpractice and murder and shame?
Yet, we cheer, support, show up and show out when others get their just due in this country while seeming acting like it wasn’t our ancestors and selves who continually change our lot and name?
BLACK MOTHERS, why do we collectively stomp for votes?
Yet, different forms but yet around our BLACK necks, we have various ropes.
BLACK MOTHERS, how do we unify, strategize and organize BLACK WOMEN to meet, greet and speak to and empower the disengaged and ignorant about issues we all share?
Yet, after the political dust has settled affluent BLACK MOTHERS go back to showing just how about us you never cared?
BLACK MOTHERS how do we show empathy when a need that should be filled takes a collective impact?
Yet, we see a few of us out front with some semblance of containment but never those with the weight of the world on our shoulders, hearts, spirits, souls, necks and back?
BLACK MOTHERS how do we see, know, UNDERSTAND and expect law enforcement who for the past 400 plus years been allowed to unjustly, immorally and dehumanizingly brutalize, hurt, harm, mame and kill those we’ve given birth?
Yet we walk around with a void feeling helpless, bruised and scorned as we must aimlessly walk through this earth.
BLACK MOTHERS how do we pay the salaries of public servants who we allow to kill, accuse, frame and character assassinate our very life?
Yet we never resist or cause any strife.
BLACK MOTHERS when will we rise up and demand not only our full citizenship but reparations, visibility, voice, rights, justice and dignity too?
Yep, this is our moment BLACK MOTHERS together for our future sake; this is going to take ONLY me and you.
