LEMONS, THEY HONESTLY MAKE US!
I had NO idea that LEMONS had so many HEALTH BENEFITS.
One Women History Month, the girls and I worked on a project.
We simply asked WOMEN, When Life Threw Them Lemons, What Was Deep Within To Create The Sweetest Lemonade?
Just as our life’s tests, trials, hurts, bruises and other mals, LEMONS not only have MANY HEALTH BENEFITS BUT CAN BE PREPARED IN A PLETHORA OF WAYS.
AND YET, WE ARE STILL STANDING!
They are throwing around Make America Civil AGAIN as to covey it once was.
America has NEVER been civil.
America calls civility our acceptance of the noose around our lives.
America calls civility the smile we wear after pushing toxic liquid chemicals down our throats.
America calls civility the strength we show after every brutal, unjust, illegal tearing away of our families and souls.
America calls civility our forgiveness, acceptance and love no matter how bent over we are.
America calls civility our go along to get along the LEGISLATED malpractice and maltreatment.
When #POC specifically outwardly display and make intellectually known our pain, anguish, hurt, discomfort and an unjust, immoral and ungodly system and become INTENTIONAL IN LOOKING WHITE SUPREMACY IN THE FACE AND CALLING IT OUT, then and only then are those who are oppressed, suppressed, marginalized, scarred, bruised, hurt, broken and zoned into a cess pool seen as and coined UNCIVILIZED.
In 8 months we have seen you blossom and become our sunshine.
I was warned
I didn’t listen
Yet you persevered
Now I am hooked
We have a difficult time understanding parenthood but the second and third time around GRAN AND GREAT GRAND we learn that it really IS about those small​ things, milestones, unretrievable events.
I am beyond proud of your mom and dad because BOTH of them are OUR GIFT for assuring THAT YOU AT 8 months can thrive, not worry but be happy, show your brilliance, be a jokester and have your picks and chooses BUT YET the LOVE OF OUR LIVES.

We smile but don’t mean it
We chatter but don’t want to
We forge relationships but they aren’t genuine
We see people and speak but would prefer to walk pass them
We do things for people but really would prefer they not ask us
We feel for people but wish we didn’t
We stick out necks out for people and regret it
We birth babies and feel drained
We plant seeds on known and proven contaminated soil
We shine our light in places that is darker than dark
We muster up strength that makes us weak
We are wired the SAME, different incomes and hues but yet, WIRED THE SAME

From Gynophobia to Sapiosexuals
Gynophobia is FEAR OF WOMEN.
What is the root of this fear?
Was it fear?
Was it jealousy?
Was it misunderstanding?
Was it compassion?
Was it empathy?
Was it sympathy?
Was it caring?
Was it anger?
Was it insulting?
Was it my unawareness of me?
It was all of the above. I always say HURT KNOW HURT AND HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE. Either knowingly or unknowingly we do.
We allow the most brilliant, creative, resourceful, ingenious women to war against each other so we can’t make progress and change systems in the most expeditious manner possible.
The bond, attachment, affection, understanding, mirroring, appreciation and brilliance could not only be commended, utilized and protected but theirs ours and ours theirs.
We women begin our ADULTING at tender ages and we are born missing steps and stages even in the midst of trying to figure ourselves out.
So if we aren’t familiar with anything, it is abuse and misuse.
BECAUSE OF THE CONSTRUCT OF THIS COUNTRY AND LIES, WE WOMEN ARE TAUGHT TO HATE, ENVY, DISRESPECT, DISREGARD AND DISTRUST OURSELVES AND OTHER WOMEN.
Without honestly facing, embracing and knowing our history, journey and struggles as women in America or the world, I KNEW WE WERE SOME BADASSES because of what I’ve seen, heard and felt and the vibes they gave off.
Everyone is talking about the homeless. I penned this with INVISIBLE NO MORE in mind. Covering, protection, spaces of safety and love!
Let’s BECOME SAPIOSEXUALS, aroused by the intellect of other women.
Woman 2 Woman: Tomorrow let’s stand with #TishauraJones and allow our humanness to not be sloppy, stand in solidarity, believe in her mission, show up in our tears, gratitude and appreciation that we’re not void of humanity and understand that this system is set up for profit and it is gained through divisiveness.
We women unconditionally and without reserve give: love, help, support, encouragement, inspiration, wisdom, and direction.
I ask, let’s come together and take ALL that is webbed in this experience and lather in the love and show of support surrounding her, OUR SISTER.
We won’t, can’t, musn’t and shouldn’t be discussing 45 administration being warned of traumatic psychological Injury of Immigrant Children and LEAVE OUT US, #POC, right?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to be LEGISLATED living conditions that preexisting conditions is a given?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to have to play small, be diminished when all you want to do is LIVE AND PRODUCE YOUR BEST LIFE?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to know ALL THINGS are deeply rooted in MONEY and without liveable wages, reputable employment the spiral begins and Whites HOLD our strings?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to see WHITE FACES in our inner city schools who hate, fear, dislike, refuse authentic relationships, have great disdain, low expectations and standards and do NOT have to extract the greatness, resourcefulness, brilliance from our BLACK STUDENTS while being paid to FAIL AND CRIMINALIZE our children of color along with eradicating their student loans?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological i jury when WHITE FOLKS are not only MORE believable about MY reality but will be paid to speak on it?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to walk or drive through our neighborhoods and see drug dealers, street walkers and jails in our residential areas like that is something to aspire to become?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to be the ones who make business doors open and close and they not only disrespect us, call us derogatory names but take money out of our communities of color and never invest within us nor do their children attend our failing schools but we keep them living afloat and we are spineless, detached, disengaged, tired of fighting LEGISLATED ignorance?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to be LEGISLATED education malpractice for decades and NEVER able to hold anyone accountable or responsible for failing our children?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury walking your pride and joy into educational institutions and they are met with police officers at age 5 abd 6?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to be LEGISLATED the worse education and matriculate to only be told because you have soes not mean they HAVE to hire you or pay you your worth?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury when we do what America tells us to do and then have systems in place to maintain, suppress and oppress. Same vicious tactics different packaging.
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to constantly apply for reputabale employment and denied, omitted, rejected or give some lame excuses as to WHY you are not a good fit?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to work long and hard and the nutritional value you NEED for GOOD HEALTH is too expensive so you buy food that contributes to cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes because it is the cheapest?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological
injury to KNOW that it is LEGISLATED that ones zip code determines resources, opportunities, progression or living conditions says HIGH LEVELS of LEAD, ASBESTOS and other invisible, toxic,deadly chemicals that causes early death?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to CONSTANTLY be in need and those who have and obtained off of the backs of the poor and BLACKS refuse, deny, reject, look away or just never respond?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to worry from sun up to sun down about your man and woman child because America does NOT see their innocence or humanity but build and hue?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to WAIT on that dreaded knock saying Ma’am, Sir we need you to come with us to identify these remains?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to walk or drive through neighborhoods dilapidated filled, streets crumbling, apartment windows are shattered, everything that convey WE DO NOT MATTER, MY STUDENTS DO NOT MATTER, BLACK LIVES DO NOT MATTER?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to know in our KKKountry we have local, state, and federal organizations who KNOW, UNDERSTAND, PARTICIPATE AND ALLOW the plight of BLACK LIVES but do and have done absolutely NOTHING to write/right these 400 years of wrongs?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury to CONSTANTLY have to turn cheeks, love unconditionally and forgive when these atrocities upon Black bodies are inhumane, illegal, unwarranted,unjust and indescribable?
Is it NOT traumatic psychological injury that they will invest in our POOR BLACK children muscles and NOT also their minds?
THIS IS AMERICA!
THIS IS THE VICIOUS, HATEFUL, RACIST, DIVISIVE AND UNGODLY TRAUMATIC PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY AMERICA HAS INFLICTED UPON US, #poc AND WE HAVE PASSED IT DOWN FOR 400 YEARS.
